Extremely clear strategy, zero busywork
For founders and marketing leads: ChatGPT turns your goals and numbers into a quarter plan on a Storyflow board, with audiences, channels, budget lines and a dated calendar.

Creatives working for these brands already got early access
Watch a real project come together, from a blank board to a finished plan, clicked through step by step.
Pick a board to see what you can build, then let AI fill it in. Every template is a real, editable starting point on the same infinite canvas.

Lay out your goals, channels, and initiatives for the quarter on one board.
Yes, ChatGPT can write a marketing plan: tell it what you sell, who buys it, your goals for the quarter and the money you have, and it drafts the audiences, the channels, the budget lines and a calendar of what happens each week. Storyflow is an AI visual workspace that lays out a marketing plan on one infinite canvas: a wall for the goals, the audiences, the channels and each campaign, the budget and the calendar as tables, and charts drawn from your numbers. With the Storyflow plugin installed, ChatGPT builds that plan on your board, using its own model, so it costs you no Storyflow AI credits.
ChatGPT is good at the thinking part with nothing connected. Tell it you have $36,000 for the quarter and it asks what a new customer is worth before it splits the money, points out that four channels on a nine-person team means nobody really owns any of them, and turns "grow the brand" into a number with a date. The answer is a long document in a chat. The budget is a table you rebuild in a spreadsheet, the calendar is a list you retype somewhere else, and by week three the plan in the chat no longer matches what the team is doing.
With the plugin, ask for the plan on your marketing project and ChatGPT builds it as walls: the goals, the audiences, the channels, each campaign inside the quarter, and how you will measure it. The budget goes into a table with one row per line and the cost in your currency. Pick Sum in the cost column's footer and the total follows whenever a line changes. The calendar is a second table with a date, a channel, the activity, an owner and a status. If last quarter's results are an Excel or CSV file on the board, ChatGPT reads it and charts the real figures beside the goals.
An example. Fernway, a nine-person company that sells refillable cleaning products online, plans April to June. Three goals, all by 30 June: monthly revenue from $80,000 to $110,000, the email list from 14,000 to 20,000, and repeat orders from 28% to 33%. The budget is $36,000: $14,400 for paid social (40%), $7,200 for creators (20%), $5,400 for email and content (15%), $5,400 for search (15%) and $3,600 for two pop-up markets (10%). Two campaigns sit inside the quarter: a refill launch in weeks 2 to 5 and a summer bundle in weeks 9 to 12. The calendar table holds 39 rows, three a week for 13 weeks. On the board: six walls, the budget table with its Sum footer, the calendar table and a pie chart of the five lines.
A marketing plan holds up when each goal has a channel that moves it, each channel has an owner and a budget line, and each budget line has a number it is meant to change. A small team gets more from two or three channels run well than from five run thinly. Ask ChatGPT to read the board and list any channel with no owner, any budget line with no goal behind it and any week in the calendar with nothing in it. Then make the cuts yourself: ChatGPT does not know your margins, or which creator never answers email.
What it does not do. Storyflow has no budget tool, forecast or spend tracking: the budget is a table of lines with a footer total, and nothing pulls figures from your ad accounts or your shop. There is no calendar view, no Gantt chart and no sorting a table by clicking a column, so ask ChatGPT to put the rows back in date order after a change. Storyflow does not schedule or publish posts. Through the plugin, ChatGPT cannot delete cards, assign to-dos to people or generate images, and a file you attach in the chat does not land on the board.
Ultra fast from brief to board
Write the real numbers down first. ChatGPT plans better from figures than from hopes.
01
Open the Storyflow listing in ChatGPT's plugin directory and select Install plugin. Sign in to Storyflow when asked, then choose which projects ChatGPT may use.
02
Put last quarter's results on the board as an Excel or CSV file, or paste the figures into the chat. Type @, pick Storyflow and ask, for example: "Plan April to June for Fernway on the Marketing board: three goals by 30 June and $36,000. Walls for goals, audiences, channels, two campaigns and measurement, the budget as a table, and a calendar table with three rows a week in date order." The walls and both tables appear on the board.
03
Ask ChatGPT to list any channel without an owner and any budget line without a goal behind it. Edit a card by hand, or tell ChatGPT what to change and it edits that card in place. Set the budget table's footer to Sum yourself.
04
Ask for the budget as a pie chart and last quarter's results as a bar chart. Each Monday, ask ChatGPT what changed on the board in the last week. Share the board from Storyflow with a view-only link that opens with no account.
ChatGPT writes the plan through the plugin. Storyflow keeps the whole quarter on one board.

The plan
Ask ChatGPT to put Storyflow's Marketing Plan template on the board, with its walls for background, budget, goals, concepts, timeline, next steps and the team. It arrives with example cards, and ChatGPT rewrites every one for your quarter.

The budget
Each line is a row with its cost in your currency and the goal it serves. Pick Sum in the cost column's footer and the total moves with the lines. That footer is the whole budget feature: Storyflow does not forecast or track spend.
See the media plan template →
The audiences
Ask ChatGPT for a persona wall per audience: their goals, their pains, the channels they use and the words they use. Every channel in the plan then points at a person you can name.

The numbers
Put the results export on the board and ChatGPT reads it, then draws bar, line or pie charts from the real figures, or a dashboard of up to 16 tiles when there are several measures.
See charts with ChatGPT →The plugin runs on ChatGPT's own model and your ChatGPT plan, so the plan it builds uses no Storyflow AI credits. An invited free Storyflow account can make 25 plugin actions a week, reset each Monday (UTC), and Plus, Pro and Max have no weekly limit. Storyflow is paid-only during early access, with plans from $7.99 a month billed annually ($9.99 monthly). Anyone a paid member invites to a board joins free.

Built for people with taste
ChatGPT writes a good first plan. A quarter is 13 weeks long, and the plan has to keep up with every one of them.

The draft
Your numbers, read from the file: Put last quarter's Excel or CSV export on the board and ChatGPT reads it there, up to 25 MB and the first 40,000 characters, before it sets a single goal.
The quarter apart from the campaigns: Ask ChatGPT to divide the board with a line: the walls that run all quarter on one side, the refill launch and the summer bundle on the other. It measures what is there and moves the two groups apart to make room.
A framework for the message: When ChatGPT may use all your projects, it can open Storyflow Tactics such as AIDA and set the framework beside a campaign to test the message against.
Change one line, keep the rest: Ask ChatGPT to move $2,000 from search to creators and it edits those two rows. The Sum footer updates, and the notes your team typed by hand stay as they were.

The calendar
The calendar is a dated table: Each row is one thing that happens: the date, the channel, the activity, the owner and a status. Storyflow has no calendar view, so the table is the calendar.
Rows back in date order: A table cannot be sorted by clicking a column, but ChatGPT can rewrite its row order. After a date moves, ask it to put the calendar back in date order.
Posts on their own board: The week-by-week social posts belong on a content calendar board. Link it from the channel wall, so the marketing plan stays one level up from the posts.
To-dos with a person and a date: Turn a week's work into a to-do card, then assign it and set its due date on the board, because ChatGPT cannot assign people. Assignees get in-app notifications; Storyflow sends no due-date reminders.
The review
Monday: ask what changed: Ask ChatGPT what changed on the marketing board last week and who changed it. It reads the board's history and lists the cards that were added, edited or moved.
A summary before the review: Before the monthly review, ask ChatGPT for a summary of the board. It reads the walls and tables first, so the summary reflects the plan as it stands that day.
Results against the goals: At the end of each month, paste the new figures and ask ChatGPT to update the chart that is already on the board instead of drawing a second one.
One link for the team or investors: Share the board from Storyflow with a view-only link that opens in a browser with no account. To comment, a person signs in.
Every template opens as a real, editable board on the infinite canvas. Pick the closest fit and make it your own.
Lay out your goals, channels, and initiatives for the quarter on one board.

One app instead of five
Storyflow keeps the quarter on one board with charts and a deck. Notion keeps it in pages and databases, which can be sorted, filtered and shown as a calendar. Its ChatGPT plugin reads those pages and, with the right permissions, can create or update them (as of October 2026).

What founders and marketing leads ask before they plan a quarter with ChatGPT.
Yes. ChatGPT drafts a marketing plan from what you sell, who buys it, your goals and your budget: the audiences, the channels, the budget lines and a weekly calendar. With the Storyflow plugin it builds that plan on your Storyflow board instead of in the chat: walls for goals, audiences, channels and campaigns, the budget and the calendar as tables, and charts from your real results.
Storyflow is our pick for a marketing plan a small team reads and changes together, because ChatGPT lays the goals, audiences, channels, budget table, calendar and charts out on one board. Storyflow is our product. Notion is the better pick when the plan must live in databases you sort, filter and view as a calendar; its ChatGPT plugin reads your pages and, with the right permissions, can create or update them (as of October 2026).
Two or three goals with a number and a date, the audiences in a sentence each, the channels with an owner and a job, the budget by line, the campaigns that run inside the quarter, a dated calendar, the one number you watch per channel, and a monthly review date. In Storyflow, ChatGPT gives each part a wall or a table, so a missing part shows up as a gap on the board.
Open the Storyflow listing in ChatGPT's plugin directory and select Install plugin. Sign in to Storyflow when asked, then choose which projects ChatGPT may use and whether it may make changes. In a chat, type @ and pick Storyflow, or choose it from the + menu. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan, workspace and region. In a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin manages plugins and can turn them on or off.
It writes the budget lines into a table on your Storyflow board, one row per line with the cost in your currency, and draws a chart from them. Pick Sum in the cost column's footer and the total updates when a line changes. That is as far as it goes: Storyflow has no budget tool, no forecast and no spend tracking, so keep a spreadsheet for anything your accountant needs.
Yes, when the file is on your Storyflow board. ChatGPT reads Excel, CSV, PDF and Word files there, up to 25 MB each, and gets the first 40,000 characters. A scanned PDF has no text to read. A file you attach in the ChatGPT chat is read in the chat, but it does not land on the board, so put the export on the board if the team needs it too.
Dates live in a table with a date column, one row per thing that happens, and in to-dos that take an assignee and a due date. Storyflow has no calendar view, and a table cannot be sorted by clicking a column. ChatGPT can rewrite a table's row order, so after a date moves, ask it to put the calendar back in date order.
Storyflow has no budget tool, forecast, calendar view or Gantt chart, and it does not pull figures from your ad accounts, analytics or shop. It does not schedule or publish posts. Through the plugin, ChatGPT cannot delete cards, assign to-dos, read comments or generate images. Storyflow runs in the browser, with no native desktop or mobile app.
A photo you attach in the ChatGPT chat does not reach Storyflow. Ask ChatGPT for an upload link instead: it replies with an "Add your photos" link that works for 15 minutes and takes up to 200 pictures from your phone or computer. ChatGPT can also add pictures from direct image addresses. It cannot generate images through the plugin.
Share the board from Storyflow, because ChatGPT does not create share links. A view-only link opens in any browser with no account, so an investor or an advisor can read the plan without signing up. To comment or draw, a person signs in. Anyone a paid member invites to the board joins free, so your team works on it without paying for seats.
Storyflow is paid-only during early access: Plus is $7.99 a month billed annually ($9.99 monthly), Pro is $14 and Max is $39, both billed annually. Plugin actions run on ChatGPT's own model and your ChatGPT plan, so they use no Storyflow AI credits. An invited free account can make 25 plugin actions a week, reset on Monday (UTC). Plus, Pro and Max have no weekly limit.
A marketing plan covers a whole period, usually a quarter: the goals, the audiences, the channels that run all the time, the budget and the calendar. A campaign plan covers one push inside it, from the brief to the assets, owners and dates. On Storyflow, keep the marketing plan on one board and give each campaign its own board, linked from the plan.
Yes. Claude, Gemini and Grok connect the same Storyflow account through the address https://mcp.storyflow.so/mcp as a custom connector, and storyflow.so/mcp shows the setup for each one. ChatGPT installs Storyflow from its plugin directory instead. All of them build on the same boards, so a founder in ChatGPT and a freelancer in Claude can work on one plan.
Only the ones you choose. When you sign in, Storyflow asks whether ChatGPT may use all your projects or only the ones you pick. Reading is always on, and you decide whether it may also make changes. Storyflow Tactics and creating a new project need access to all projects. Every connection ends after 30 days, and ChatGPT then asks you to sign in again.
