Not yet. Storyflow is currently in paid early access, and the Free plan launches before the end of 2026. You do not need a paid seat to collaborate, though: anyone invited to a board by a paid member can sign up for free and work on shared boards today.

During early access, yes: every plan is paid, so subscribing requires a card. The exception is invites. If a paid member invites you to a board, you can sign up free and collaborate without paying. The free-forever plan itself arrives before the end of 2026.

The Free plan (arriving before the end of 2026) will cap three things: AI usage (up to 10 AI generations per period), the tactics library (3 of 200+), and file uploads (20). How much you create is never capped: no object limit, no board limit, no time limit. When you reach a cap, your boards stay exactly as they are and you choose whether to upgrade.

Plus ($7.99/mo annual) if you mainly want the full library of 200+ tactics and unlimited uploads, for less than Netflix. Pro ($14/mo annual) if you use AI most days: it adds AI image generation, 20× more AI usage, and memory across conversations. Max ($39/mo annual) if you work with other people: it adds 40× more AI plus a shared Team Workspace with roles and permissions. You can start lower and move up whenever you outgrow a plan.

Annual billing saves 20% on Plus, 26% on Pro, and 20% on Max compared with paying month to month. You can switch between monthly and annual, and move up or down between plans, from your account settings at any time.

Yes. Cancel from your account settings in a couple of clicks and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. No lock-in, no cancellation fee. Time that has already been billed is not refunded, so if you want to try a paid plan before committing for a year, start monthly and switch to annual once you are sure.

Storyflow combines tools you would normally pay for separately: ChatGPT for AI assistance, Milanote for visual boards and moodboards, Notion for documents and notes, Frameset for storyboards and shot planning, and Shotdeck for a cinematic reference library. Instead of five subscriptions, Pro brings it onto one canvas for $14/mo annual.

Whole working boards, not just text. Ask in plain language and the agent builds kanban boards of draggable cards, mind maps, storyboards laid out frame by frame, tables, trackers with statuses and owners, task lists, weekly plans and content calendars, dashboards of charts from your numbers, moodboards, idea maps, and formatted documents. It asks a clarifying question or two first, then stages the result on your canvas as a proposal you accept or discard, so nothing lands on your board without your say-so.

All three. Attach files to the chat, @-mention any element on your canvas to point the AI at exactly what you mean, and let it search the web when it needs current information. It hands back the sources it used, and you can drop any of them straight onto your board as cards. You can also pick a persona so answers come back in the voice you need.

Generate them and clean them up. AI image generation is included on Pro and Max, so you can create visuals from a description without leaving your board. On any image already on your canvas you also get one-click background removal and upscaling: Free includes a taste of each, and paid plans lift the cap. Ask the agent for a moodboard and it will collect and lay out references for you.
