Ultra-fast planning, extremely simple

Make the presentation in ChatGPT,
on the board your team already edits.

For founders and team leads: ChatGPT reads the plan on your Storyflow board and builds the slides right beside it, ready to present fullscreen or send as a PDF.

Can ChatGPT make a presentation?

Yes, ChatGPT can make a presentation: it turns your notes into an outline and writes a headline and the points for every slide, but without a plugin the slides stay in your chat, apart from the plan they came from. Storyflow is an AI visual workspace that turns a team's plan into a presentation on one infinite canvas: the notes, the numbers, the tasks and the deck side by side. With the Storyflow plugin installed, ChatGPT reads your board first and builds the deck on that board, on ChatGPT's own model, so the slides use none of your Storyflow AI credits.

ChatGPT is good at this with nothing connected. Give it a page of notes from a planning day and it finds the order: where we are, what we decided, what happens next and who owns it. It cuts fifteen slides to nine, rewrites a topic headline ("Q3 results") into a point ("Signups doubled after the price change"), and asks what the room will want to know. Where it struggles is the plan itself. It has not seen the tasks your team ticked off this week, the table your co-founder corrected on Tuesday or the decision in last Monday's notes, unless someone pastes all of it in again. And every change after the meeting means copying the slides out of the chat again.

With the plugin, ChatGPT starts from the board. It reads the cards, documents and tables on the board you name, and the PDF, Word, Excel and CSV files sitting on it. Then it builds the deck as one element on that board: up to 30 slides, at 16:9, 4:3 or A4 portrait, under one theme of four colours (background, text, accent and a muted tone) and a font. Change the theme once and every slide changes with it. Later requests change that deck instead of building a second one, and everyone on the board sees the same copy.

An example, with a made-up team. Northline, a nine-person software company, holds its quarterly review on a Friday. Its Q4 board holds a table of the quarter's numbers (1,240 signups against a target of 1,000; revenue of $61,000 a month, up from $52,000 in July), three walls for the quarter's three bets and a to-do list per team. The founder asks ChatGPT for a ten-slide review deck from that board. Slide 1 is the title and date. Slide 2 is the quarter in one sentence. Slide 3 is the numbers against target. Slides 4, 5 and 6 take one bet each: what we tried, what happened, keep or drop. Slide 7 is what we stop doing. Slide 8 is the plan for Q1 in three lines. Slide 9 is who owns what, by name. Slide 10 is the two decisions needed today. In a 30-minute review that is about two minutes a slide and ten minutes for the decisions.

Most team presentations need fewer slides than they get, and the same few rules make them work. One idea per slide, written as the headline. Every number next to what it is measured against: 1,240 signups against a target of 1,000 says something, 1,240 signups on its own does not. Names beside tasks, not team names. The decision you need on its own slide near the end, with the date you need it by. Put each of those on the board before you ask for slides. ChatGPT builds from what is there, so an owner missing from the board is an owner missing from slide 9.

Now the limits. Over the plugin, each slide's picture spaces start empty: ChatGPT does not make pictures or place them in a slide, so you add your screenshots and photos to the slides in Storyflow. A photo you attach in the ChatGPT chat does not reach Storyflow; ask for the "Add your photos" link instead. ChatGPT cannot rewrite the words on one slide that is already built, so change them by hand, or ask it to remove that slide and add a new one in its place. The deck has no animations, no speaker notes and no presenter view, and Storyflow does not save a PowerPoint file.

Ultra fast from brief to board

Four steps from the plan to a deck the team can present.

The plan on the board is the slow part. The deck takes one message, and the fixes take a few more.

01

Install Storyflow from the plugin directory

Open the Storyflow listing in ChatGPT's plugin directory and select Install plugin. Sign in to Storyflow when asked, then choose which projects ChatGPT may use.

02

Put the plan on the board

Notes from the meeting, the numbers in a table, the tasks with their owners, and any PDF, Word, Excel or CSV file you want quoted. If your team already plans in Storyflow, this part is done. If not, ask ChatGPT to turn your notes into a board first.

03

Ask for the presentation

Name the board, the number of slides, the size and the colours. For example: "Read the Q4 planning board and build a ten-slide review deck on it, 16:9, navy and white. End with the two decisions we need today." The deck appears on the board beside the plan, its slides listed down the side.

04

Fix it, present it, send it

Ask ChatGPT to add, cut or reorder slides, or to change the theme. Fix any words by hand. Then present it fullscreen from the board, or export a PDF for the people who missed the meeting.

The deck is one element on the board, its slides listed down the side, with Present, Export PDF and Theme buttons above it. The list shows the shape of the whole talk before anyone reads a word, so a missing "what we decided" slide is easy to spot.

ChatGPT builds the slides. Your Storyflow credits stay untouched.

ChatGPT runs on its own model, so a deck it builds through the plugin uses no Storyflow AI credits. An invited free Storyflow account can make 25 plugin actions a week, and the count resets every Monday (UTC). Plus, Pro and Max have no weekly limit. Storyflow is paid-only during early access, from $7.99 a month billed annually ($9.99 monthly), and anyone a paid member invites to a board joins free.

Built for people with taste

Where a presentation made in a chat goes wrong.

ChatGPT writes good slides. It cannot see your plan unless you show it, and slides copied out of a chat are out of date by Wednesday.

A table on a Storyflow board listing items, suppliers, costs, due dates and a status for each row, with a teammate's comment open beside it

The context

Pasting the whole plan into a chat every week

It reads the board: ChatGPT reads the cards, documents and tables on the board you name. The meeting notes and the numbers are already there, so nobody pastes them in again.

Files on the board: Last quarter's report or the finance sheet can feed the deck when the file sits on the board. A scanned PDF with no text in it is not read.

Ask what changed: Before the review, ask ChatGPT what changed on the board this week and who changed it, so the deck does not miss the numbers your co-founder fixed on Tuesday.

Numbers with a source: Slide 3 says 1,240 signups because the table on the board says it. Anyone who doubts the number scrolls to the table, not to an old email.

A deck on a board with its slides listed down the left, the open slide in a dark theme and a Theme button above it

The edits

Version four of the same file

One deck, changed in place: Ask to add a slide after slide 3, drop the hiring slide or move the numbers up. ChatGPT changes the deck that is there, so there is only ever one copy.

One theme for every slide: Four colours and a font cover the whole deck. Change them once, by asking or with the Theme button, and no slide is left in last quarter's colours.

Three sizes: 16:9 for a screen, 4:3 for an older projector, A4 portrait for a deck people will read rather than watch. Pick the size in the first request: switch later and each slide keeps its old layout, scaled to fit inside the new shape, because ChatGPT cannot redraw built slides.

Words by hand: ChatGPT handles the big moves: a new slide, a new order, a new theme. It cannot change the words on a slide it built, so fix a wrong date on slide 8 yourself, right on the slide.

The meeting

Everyone looking at a different copy

Present from the board: Step through the deck fullscreen from the board that holds the plan. When someone asks where a number came from, close the deck and show them the table.

A PDF for the follow-up: Export the deck from Storyflow as a PDF and send it with the notes. ChatGPT does not export it for you through the plugin.

A link for people outside the team: Share the board from Storyflow with a view-only link. An adviser or a board member opens it in a browser with no account. To leave a comment, they sign in.

Live edits on paid plans: On every paid plan, the team edits the board together in real time, so the slide someone fixes during the meeting is the one everyone sees.

One app instead of five

ChatGPT with a board, ChatGPT alone, or Gamma.

Storyflow builds the deck where the plan lives. Gamma, also in ChatGPT's plugin directory as of October 2026, designs the deck in Gamma; its help centre lists AI image generation on every plan, speaker notes in a presenter view, and export as PDF, PNG and PowerPoint. Storyflow saves no PowerPoint file, and the plugin adds no AI pictures.

Presentations with ChatGPT: questions

What founders and team leads ask before ChatGPT builds the next review deck.

Yes. ChatGPT writes the outline and the text of every slide from your notes. With the Storyflow plugin it reads the plan on your Storyflow board first, then builds the deck on that board: up to 30 slides under one theme, which you present fullscreen or export as a PDF, beside the notes and numbers it came from.

Storyflow is our pick first for a presentation built from a plan your team keeps on a board, because it reads that board before it writes and builds the deck beside it, where the team can change it. Storyflow is our product. Gamma, also in ChatGPT's plugin directory, designs the deck in Gamma, with AI pictures, speaker notes in a presenter view and PowerPoint export. Storyflow's deck has no speaker notes or PowerPoint file.

Open the Storyflow listing in ChatGPT's plugin directory and select Install plugin. Sign in to Storyflow when asked, then choose which projects ChatGPT may use and whether it may make changes. In a chat, type @ and pick Storyflow, or choose it from the + menu. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan, workspace and region.

Yes, if your admin allows it. In a Business or Enterprise workspace an admin manages plugins and can turn them on or off, so ask yours to make Storyflow available if you cannot find it. Each person then installs it and signs in to their own Storyflow account, and everyone builds on the same shared boards.

Up to 30 slides in one deck on a Storyflow board, at 16:9, 4:3 or A4 portrait. A quarterly review rarely needs more than 12. For a longer session, such as a full-day offsite, build one deck per part of the day and keep them side by side on the same board.

Yes. Ask it to add slides at a position, remove slides, put them in a new order, or change the deck's title, size or theme, and it changes the deck already on your Storyflow board. It cannot rewrite the words on one existing slide, so edit that slide by hand, or ask ChatGPT to remove it and add a new one in its place.

No. Storyflow exports the deck as a PDF and presents it fullscreen, but it does not save a PowerPoint file. If a partner or a client needs .pptx, rebuild the final version in PowerPoint or Google Slides, or use a tool that exports it, such as Gamma. Most team reviews only need the PDF.

Add them in Storyflow. A picture you attach in the ChatGPT chat does not reach Storyflow, so ask ChatGPT for the "Add your photos" link instead. It works for 15 minutes and takes up to 200 pictures, which land on your board. Then put each one into a slide's empty picture space in Storyflow.

No. A Storyflow deck has no speaker notes and no presenter view. Ask ChatGPT for a talking-points document on the same board instead, one short section per slide, and keep it open on a second screen or print it. It stays beside the deck, so it is still there for the next review.

Yes, when the file is on your Storyflow board. ChatGPT reads PDF, Word, Excel and CSV files there, up to 25 MB each, and gets the first 40,000 characters, so give it the summary sheet rather than a raw export. A file you attach in the ChatGPT chat stays in ChatGPT and never reaches the board.

Yes. Share the board from Storyflow with a view-only link and it opens in a browser with no account, deck and plan together. To comment, the visitor signs in. ChatGPT does not share boards for you. Anyone a paid member invites to the board joins free.

No credits. The plugin runs on ChatGPT's own model and your ChatGPT plan. An invited free Storyflow account can make 25 plugin actions a week, reset every Monday (UTC), and Plus, Pro and Max have no weekly limit. Storyflow is paid-only during early access: Plus is $7.99 a month billed annually, Pro $14 and Max $39.

The deck is the same; only the way in differs. ChatGPT installs Storyflow from its plugin directory. Claude, Gemini and Grok add the address https://mcp.storyflow.so/mcp as a custom connector, with setup steps for each at storyflow.so/mcp. All of them reach the same Storyflow account, so a co-founder on Claude can reorder the slides you built in ChatGPT.

Through the plugin, ChatGPT does not generate pictures, fill a slide's picture space or read the comments on a board. The deck has no animations, transitions, speaker notes or PowerPoint export. ChatGPT cannot share the board for you, and every connection ends after 30 days, when ChatGPT asks you to sign in again.

Only the ones you choose. When you sign in, Storyflow asks whether ChatGPT may use all your projects or only the ones you pick. It can always read them, and you decide whether it may also make changes. Without changes allowed it can read the plan and draft slides in the chat, but it cannot build the deck on the board.
