Sharing Projects

Last updated: December 2024

Share your work with others using two types of shareable links: edit links for collaboration and readonly links for viewing.

Accessing the Share Modal

Click the blue Share button in the top navigation bar to open the sharing modal. This modal shows your shareable links and current collaborators.

Edit Link Sharing

Enable the edit link toggle to generate a shareable link that allows full editing access. Anyone with this link can:

  • View and edit all content in real-time
  • Add, move, and delete elements
  • Collaborate with other users simultaneously
  • See other collaborators' cursors and changes live

Readonly Link Sharing

Enable the readonly link toggle to generate a view-only link. This is perfect for:

  • Presenting work to clients
  • Sharing plans with stakeholders
  • Getting feedback without risk of changes
  • Portfolio sharing

Viewers can navigate the whiteboard, read documents, and view blueprints, but cannot make any changes. The modal also shows how many times your readonly link has been viewed.

Managing Links

You can toggle each link type on or off independently. Simply flip the switch to disable a link type, and anyone trying to access it will no longer have permission. You can also see who has accessed your shared content and revoke access for specific users.

Sharing Scope

  • Projects: Shares the entire project including whiteboards, sub-boards, and blueprints
  • Blueprints: Shares only the specific blueprint (when accessed from blueprint view)
  • Documents: Shares only the specific document (when accessed from document view)
