Project Statuses & Kanban Dashboard

Last updated: May 2026

Every project has a status — Backlog, To-Do, In Progress, or Completed. Use it to track what's currently active versus what's parked, and switch the dashboard to a kanban view to manage your workload visually.

Setting a Status

Open a project's actions menu (or right-click in the sidebar) and pick a status:

  • Backlog: Ideas you haven't committed to yet
  • To-Do: Committed and ready to start
  • In Progress: Currently active work
  • Completed: Done and archived

Dashboard Views

  • Thumbnails: Visual grid of project covers
  • Table: List view with columns for status, owner, last modified
  • Board (Kanban): Columns for each status; drag projects between columns to update

Filtering by Status

Use the status filter on the dashboard to show only projects in a specific state — handy for triaging the Backlog or seeing only what's currently In Progress.

Use Cases

  • Run a personal kanban for your project portfolio
  • Park ideas in Backlog without losing them; promote to To-Do when ready
  • Archive finished work to Completed without deleting it
