Control who can access your projects and what they can do using Storyflow's link-based permission system.

Link-Based Permissions

Storyflow uses shareable links with built-in permission levels. Each project, blueprint, or document has two independent link types:

• Edit Link: Full editing access - users can view, modify, create, and delete content
• Readonly Link: View-only access - users can see everything but cannot make changes

Enabling and Disabling Links

In the sharing modal, you'll see toggle switches for each link type. You can:

• Turn edit links on or off independently
• Turn readonly links on or off independently
• Enable both, one, or neither
• Instantly revoke all access by disabling both links

When you disable a link, anyone who previously had access via that link will no longer be able to open the resource.

Managing Individual Users

The sharing modal displays users who have accessed your shared content. You can:

• See all users who have edit access
• Remove specific users from the access list
• View user avatars and names

Resource-Level Permissions

Permissions are set at the resource level, meaning:

• Projects: Control access to the entire project (whiteboards, sub-boards, and blueprints)
• Blueprints: Control access to individual blueprints independently
• Documents: Control access to individual documents independently

Ownership

As the creator of a resource, you have full control including:

• Generating and managing shareable links
• Enabling or disabling link types
• Revoking access for specific users
• Deleting the resource
• Viewing link analytics (readonly link view counts)
