Note Labels & Callouts

Note Labels & Callouts

Last updated: May 2026

Note labels are small badges you can attach to a sticky note to call out its meaning at a glance. Use them for status, priority, owner, or storytelling structure.

Adding a Label

  1. Select a sticky note
  2. Open the labels picker from the note's edit overlay
  3. Pick a label from a preset pack or type a custom one

Preset Label Packs

  • Status: Draft, In Review, Approved, Done
  • Priority: P0, P1, P2 — color-graded for quick scanning
  • Storytelling / YouTube: Hook, Setup, Payoff, CTA, Pattern Interrupt
  • Custom: Type any label and pick its color

Multi-label Notes

A note can carry multiple labels. Combine status + priority for richer context, or use structural labels alongside ownership labels.

Use Cases

  • Mark which beats of a video script are the hook vs payoff
  • Show review status across a research board
  • Encode priority on brainstorm cards before sorting
