Selecting multiple canvas elements lets you act on them as a group — move, align, color, group, delete, or hand them all to AI in one prompt.

Select One Element

Click any element. Click empty canvas to deselect.

Add to a Selection

• Shift + Click: Add an element to the current selection
• Cmd/Ctrl + Click: Same as Shift + Click on most platforms

Lasso Selection

Click and drag on empty canvas to draw a selection rectangle. Every element fully inside the rectangle is added to the selection. This is the fastest way to grab a dense group.

Select All

Press Cmd/Ctrl + A to select every element on the current board.

What You Can Do With a Selection

• Drag — move all selected elements together
• Apply Align, Layout, or Connect actions (see the dedicated article)
• Color, lock, or delete in bulk via the right-click menu
• Wrap with a wall to keep them grouped permanently
• Stack images into an image stack
• Send the selection to AI as @mention context

Clearing the Selection

Click empty canvas, or press Escape, to clear the current selection.
