Intro to Storyflow

Last updated: November 2024

Welcome to Storyflow! Storyflow is an AI-powered creative workspace designed for storytellers, creators, and visual thinkers. It combines the flexibility of an infinite whiteboard with structured documents and the power of AI to help you bring your ideas to life.

What is Storyflow?

Storyflow is your all-in-one creative workspace that helps you:

  • Brainstorm and organize ideas visually on infinite whiteboards
  • Create structured documents with AI writing assistance and writing analysis
  • Build blueprints with cards that turn abstract ideas into actionable plans
  • Generate AI images directly on your canvas
  • Organize projects with kanban boards, thumbnails, or table views

Key Features

Whiteboards

Our infinite canvas lets you arrange ideas spatially. Add notes, headings, to-dos, images, videos, audio, links, walls, comments, and more using the left-side toolbar. Use keyboard shortcuts like N for notes, H for headings, and T for to-dos.

Blueprints

Blueprints are structured templates with flip cards that guide your creative process. Each card has a front and back side, and you can view blueprints in card grid mode or document mode. Create blueprints from scratch or use admin templates. Press B on the canvas to add a new blueprint.

Documents

Write and format documents with our rich text editor powered by TipTap. Access the Writing Analyzer to check readability, word count, and writing quality. Use the AI sidebar for suggestions while you write.

AI Assistant

StoryflowAI helps you brainstorm, write, and generate images. Access it via the floating chat button on the dashboard, the AI panel in documents, or the AI chatbox on the whiteboard. You can also mention specific elements using @ to add context to your AI conversations.
