Duplicating Projects

Last updated: May 2026

Duplicate a project to use it as a template — keep the structure, content, and Tactics while removing the bits you don't need for the new project.

How to Duplicate

  • Right-click a project in the navigation sidebar and choose Duplicate
  • Or open the project's actions menu on the dashboard and choose Duplicate

The duplicated project opens with "Copy of …" prepended to the title — rename it and start editing.

What's Copied

  • All boards, documents, and Tactics inside the project
  • All canvas elements with their content, positions, colors, and styling
  • Folder structure and nested boards

What's Not Copied

  • Sharing settings — the duplicate is private by default
  • Comment threads
  • AI chat history (each new chat session starts fresh)

Use Cases

  • Reuse a campaign template for the next campaign
  • Build a "starter pack" project structure once, duplicate per client
  • Spin up a sandbox copy before making big changes to a real project
