A workflow is a job Storyflow AI already knows how to do. Instead of describing a shot list, a campaign brief or a competitor teardown from scratch, you pick the workflow and answer for your own subject.
There are three ways in, and all of them read the same catalogue, so you see the same list whichever one you use:
/ in the chat and call a workflow by name without opening anything. Before this, those three surfaces each had their own list, and they disagreed. Now there is one catalogue behind all of them.
The browse panel groups workflows under headings:
Filtering by heading is faster than reading every name.
Twenty of them were distilled from boards genuinely built and used in Storyflow, rather than written in the abstract. That matters because a workflow invented from scratch produces something plausible and generic, while these carry the structure a real film plan or campaign brief actually had.
They are recipes, not copies. The shape carries over; the content is about your subject. No stored board is ever applied on top of yours, so nothing of your own is overwritten.
Pick a workflow and the AI works the way it does for any request: it may ask a couple of clarifying questions, tells you what it assumed, then builds. Everything it does in that turn undoes in a single step, so trying one costs you nothing.
/ mid-conversation instead of restating the whole requestWas this article helpful?
