Restoring Deleted Items With the AI

Restoring Deleted Items With the AI

Last updated: August 2026

Two things people kept asking the AI that it could not previously do.

Bringing something back

The AI can look in the board's trash, tell you what is in there from the last seven days, and put back what you name.

Deleting the wrong wall is now a sentence to fix rather than a hunt through a panel:

"What did I delete on this board today?"
"Put the research wall back."

The trash holds seven days, so restoring works for anything deleted inside that window.

Asking how Storyflow works

The AI can answer questions about the product itself — how share links work, where an export lands, what a tactic is — rather than guessing or pointing you at the help centre.

This is useful mid-task, when stopping to look something up would break your thread:

"What does a share link password actually do?"
"Where does a board export end up?"

Use Cases

  • Get back the wall you deleted an hour ago without leaving the chat
  • Ask what a share link password does before you set one
  • Check how something works without leaving the board you are on
