How to Mention

1. Type @ in the AI chat input
2. A picker opens showing items you can reference
3. Type to filter, then click or press Enter to add
4. The mention appears as a context badge above the input

Highlighting Text

Highlight a passage on the board or in a document and it attaches to your next message the same way a mention does, without opening the @ picker at all. Useful for pointing at a specific sentence or paragraph rather than a whole card or document.

What You Can Mention

• Notes: Sticky notes and AI notes from the canvas
• Tactics: Specific Tactic cards or whole Tactics from your project
• Documents: Documents and document sections
• Boards: Other whiteboards within the project
• Tickets and Kanban items: Individual tickets or whole kanban boards
• Images: Both uploaded and AI-generated images

Context Badges

Every mention or highlight shows up as a small badge above the chat input, and again as a card on the message once you send it — so what the AI was actually handed is visible, not implied. Click the X on a badge to remove that context before sending, and if you remove one by accident, undo brings it back. The AI sees only what's listed in badges plus any attached files and your saved Knowledge entries.

Tips for Effective Mentions

• Mention the smallest thing that contains what the AI needs — a single card beats a whole Tactic
• Layer mentions: a Tactic + a brief document = framework-aware research-grounded answers
• Pair @mentions with file attachments and Knowledge entries for the most grounded outputs
• For broad questions, leave mentions empty — the AI will use your Knowledge and prompt only
