Starting the AI From Your Dashboard

Last updated: August 2026

Starting something used to mean creating a board first, finding the AI panel, and only then explaining what you wanted.

The launch box

The dashboard now opens with a box at the top. Say what you are making and the conversation starts there — no board required.

Your prompt travels with you

What you wrote carries into the board that gets created, so nothing is typed twice. Describe a project once and the AI creates the board and fills it.

If you are pulled away mid-thought, what you had typed is still waiting when you come back to the dashboard.

It takes the same requests as the in-board panel

Anything you would ask the panel on a board, you can ask here, including calling a workflow by name.

Use Cases

  • Catch an idea the moment you land on the dashboard instead of making a board first
  • Describe a project once and let the AI create and fill the board for it
