Storyflow AI used to have an Ask / Create toggle you set before sending, which decided whether the AI was allowed to touch your board.

That toggle is gone. Storyflow AI 2.0 works out what you want from the request itself, and undo is what protects the board.

Ask a question, get an answer

If you ask a question, you get an answer. "What is on this board?", "What do these two cards disagree about?", "How do share links work?" — none of these change anything.

Ask for a change, get a change

If you ask for a change, it makes the change and writes it straight to the board. There is no preview to approve. This is deliberate: watching a board fill in is faster than reading a description of what would happen, and undo is a better control than an accept button.

How to keep it narrow

• Select first. Select the cards you want touched and the rest of the board is left alone. This works for reads, rewrites, layout and grouping.
• Set the Effort dial low. On Low the AI does what you asked and stops, rather than carrying the job further.
• Say what not to touch. Plain instructions in the request are honoured.

Reversing it

• One undo reverses an entire turn, however many cards it created
• Deleted items stay in the board's trash for 7 days, and the AI can list and restore them for you
• You can stop a run mid-way with the stop button, and anything already made stays on the board

On a board you can only view

The AI refuses to change a board you have view-only access to, rather than failing silently or editing someone else's work.

Use Cases

• Ask about a board without worrying you will change it
• Select three cards and rewrite only those
• Let it try something ambitious knowing one undo puts the board back
