Four things you can save

Each save becomes a card on your board, to the right of what is already there.

Pages

Click the Storyflow button in your toolbar, or press Alt+Shift+S (Option+Shift+S on a Mac). The page lands as a link card, with your caption beside it.

Text

Select a few lines, right-click and choose Save to Storyflow. You get a note with a link back to the page it came from.

Images

Right-click any image, or click the Storyflow button on it. Images collect in your stack, and one save puts them all on your board.

Videos

Save a YouTube or Vimeo page and it becomes a video card you can play on the board. Want stills? Screengrab the frames.

What is the Storyflow Web Clipper?

A web clipper is a browser extension that saves what you find online into an app without leaving the page. The Storyflow Web Clipper saves web pages, text, images and video frames to a Storyflow project or folder you choose, from Chrome, Safari on Mac, Firefox, Edge or Opera. Storyflow is an AI visual workspace that plans creative projects on one infinite canvas: the brief, the references, the shots and the tasks.

Your last choice sits at the top of the list, so the next save is one click.

New cards go to the right of what is already on the board, so nothing you placed gets covered.

A saved quote keeps a link to its page, so you always know where it came from.

Questions about the Web Clipper

Short answers to what brand and marketing teams ask before they install it.

It is a browser extension that saves what you find on the web to a Storyflow board. A page becomes a link card, selected text becomes a note that links back to its page, images and video frames become image cards, and a YouTube or Vimeo page becomes a video card. It works in Chrome, Safari on Mac, Firefox, Edge and Opera.

The Storyflow Web Clipper. It saves pages, text, images and video frames onto the board where the campaign or the shoot is planned, next to its brief, shots and tasks, so references never sit in a separate folder. If you only want to keep articles to read later, Notion's Web Clipper saves pages into Notion.

Yes, once the image button is on (Settings, then Allow the image button). Hover a video and click Screengrab, as many times as you like. Each frame joins your stack, which holds up to 60 images and frames. When you save the stack, every frame lands on your board as an image, in rows of five, in the order you grabbed them.

Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera and Firefox (version 128 or newer) on any computer, and Safari on a Mac. It does not run on phones or tablets.

To the project or folder you click in the list. A project saves to its main board, and a folder saves into that folder. You can make a new project or folder from the same list. On the board, the new card goes to the right of everything already there, and shows the next time the board loads.

To any project you can edit. Projects where you can only view are left out of the list, because a save there would be refused.

When you open it or save, it reads that tab: its address, its title and any text you selected. If you turn on the image button, it also looks at the image or video under your pointer so it can show its button. Nothing reaches Storyflow until you save. It asks for access to all sites the first time you save an image, or when you allow the image button in Settings.

Yes. The clipper saves to your own boards, so you sign in with your Storyflow account. Storyflow is in paid early access, and anyone invited to a board by a paid member can sign up free and work on shared boards today.

Keep every reference next to the plan
